“I would like to put up this appreciation post to everyone who had made my journey a successful one.

“First and foremost I want to express my deepest gratitude to the God Almighty for his abundant blessings and guidance throughout this life-changing experience and for anointing me with this responsibility as your new Miss Solomon Islands 2022-2023.

“I would like to thank Our Telekom Management and Staff for their sponsorship, as well as their continuous support. For also pushing forward with the show.

“This whole show wouldn’t have started without Our Telekom so Thank you, Thank you, Thank You! Much appreciation to Solomon Host who persevere through the adversities that we faced during this event.

“A strong group of women, who regardless of the great impact of Covid-19 on companies, decided to go on with the show so that young girls like myself can use this platform as an avenue to voice our concerns in our country and help drive change. You had shown to the whole of Solomon Islands and the Pacific; how hard-working, determined and resilient we are as a Melanesian country.

“To my amazing team….. WE DID IT

“Both of my parents Julie, Judy, Alex & Karawisi. Thank you so much for your immense support throughout my LIFE! I am truly blessed to have 2 sets of parents who have moulded me into the woman I am today. I love you all so much!

“Brandy you are the best and sorry for giving you so much headache throughout but thank you for believing in me and teaching me to become a lady! Your hard work is so much appreciated.

“Aunty Oni, my best Mentor for showing love and care towards me and just easing my mind through such stressful days.

“To the fashionista who had created such beautiful dresses that I wore throughout the show Mary Bae MB Collections and Luke Gegeu for prints, thank you for your patience with my team and getting things done even though sometimes it was last minute but we pulled through.

“The contemporary wear was not an easy job from my observation, to the ladies and men who had done an excellent job and worked together to had made such a fine art, I thank and appreciate you.

“I am proud to say that my team itself consists of Men and Women who are an embodiment of resilience through the 2021 Riot and Covid 19 Pandemic. Heedless of no sponsorship, we persevere and decided upon other alternatives to find support.
