WOMEN farmers of the Tiroqogu community in Gizo, Western province of Solomon Islands have been equipped with timely skills and knowledge on how to start and manage livestock husbandry projects.

After undergoing practical training facilitated by members of the Kastom Garden Association based in Honiara, the farmers were told to make good use of what they have learned from the piggery and poultry farming training.
