SOLOMON Islands Women in Business Association will be hosting a four-days Mini Trade Fair Market for its members and non-members next week.

The Mini Trade Fair – ‘Kam Baek Event’ will be from 5 – 8 July, starting from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm each day at the Justice Grounds Point Cruz in Honiara.

Fees for interested women who would like to put up market stalls for the four days event. For the Solomon Islands Women in Business Association (SIWIBA) members: $100 fee and for non-members: $200 fee.

SIWIBA Programmes officer, Jessica Warahiru told Solomon Women the event is purposely to empower women.

“This event purposely is to empower our women to come back after experiencing the corona pandemic situation over the past years which affected the country’s economy including the women and their income-generating activities.

The Mini Trade Fair – ‘Kam Baek Event’ will be from 5 – 8 July.

“There will be lots of fun, entertainment and sales of varieties of products by SIWIBA members starting with an official opening on the first day,” Jessica said.
