One of the most highly anticipated events of 2022 is now set to take place following the signing of a sponsorship contract between event organizers, Solomon Host and Our Telekom.
Our Telekom will be committing $150,000 in support of the Miss Solomon Islands Pageant, which will take place on the 9th – 10th December 2022, under the theme “Celebrating Women’s Resilience in the face of Global Crisis”.
As one of the main events in the local Tourism calendar, Solomon Host believes that the event will provide a platform for our young women to speak on important issues that have an impact on their lives both locally, regionally and even globally.
As a key event that targets the female segment, the platform provides an avenue for females who participate in the Miss Solomon Islands Pageant with the tools to affect positive change personally, professionally, and philanthropically serving as inspirational leaders and role models to their communities and young females around the country.
The winning contestant of the show will go on to represent Solomon Islands in the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant 2022 in Apia, Samoa in December.
