THE Solomon Islands national netball team final squad will be name at the end of this month.
The final squad will be part of the Solomon Islands contingent that will be representing the country in the South Pacific Mini Games in Port Vila, Vanuatu on December.
According to Solomon Islands Netball Association (SINA) President Mrs. Noelyn Luahiti, we have not yet finalise the selection of the Solomon Islands national netball team, however we are optimistic to identify potential players for the national squad at the end of this month.
“There are few more things to work on with this training squad before we finalise the names for the final squad. However, the announcement of the final squad will be made on August 31 or maybe on 1 September,” said Luahiti.
Meanwhile, trainings are currently underway and we hope for a tough selection to be made by the selection board. At the moment individual players are working very hard to secure a space in the final line up.
“However, we are hoping for a fair selection to be made by the selection board especially in choosing the best ones to represent the country,” she added.
