JAYN Zayniellar Soakai is ready to compete in the Miss Solomon Islands Pageant 2024 at 18 years old.

Soakai and 10 other contestants will participate in the Miss Solomon Islands Pageant (MSIP) 2024, set to take place from August 30-31 this year in Honiara. Her main sponsor for this year’s MSIP is Avi Avi Marine (slipway), with gold sponsors Cowboys Bar & Grill and FCL Construction, along with Dezine/Breakin Recordz and Douglas Salvage Towage & Logistics Ltd.

With mixed ethnicity from Ngella, South Malaita, Tonga, and the Western Province, Soakai aims to make her family and young people and women of her province proud as she will showcase the often-overlooked beauty of Ngella (Central Province) within the Solomon Islands, known for its stunning landscapes, rich culture and traditions, values, virtues, and norms in the country.

Leading up to the competition, she shared her unwavering love for the country through her aspirations.

Jayn is fueled by a strong desire to foster development and innovation, firmly believing that confronting present challenges is key to preparing for a brighter future.

She emphasizes the importance of transforming our collective mindset towards our environment and fellow citizens, striving for a society that upholds national pride.

Jayn’s genuine dedication to youth, women, and individuals with special needs shows her inner desire to campaign for positive change.

She passionately advocates for recognizing their struggles and celebrating their achievements, drawing inspiration from her mother’s extensive involvement in sexual abuse prevention.

This personal connection fuels her empathy and drives her to fiercely champion justice.
