Pageant show is an accurate platform for young women to build confidence to become role model at their work place, Miss Pan Oceanic Bank Falu Alatala told this paper in an exclusive interview.
“I learn a lot from the pageant show particularly on how women can excel in leadership role.
She acknowledge tremendous support from the sponsors to make the event a great success.
“This show is an opportunity for me to advocate on empowering women in different sectors to become economically viable.
“Before I came to contest in this show, I have similar interests as other contestants, such as what public may portray about us.
“It’s a dream come true to contest in miss Solomon Islands pageant show,” she said.
However Miss. Falu encourages other young girls who want or interest to join the pageant in the future to be persistent in their dreams.
“I appeal to young women to lift your heads high to achieve your dreams in whatever domain you work in.”
Meanwhile Ms. Falu dubbed the pageant show is a platform to groom young women to become effective leaders.
“It’s a good platform for young women to explore quality of leadership,” she concludes.
