Today, Solomon Power bids a heartfelt farewell to its Manager Call Center, Sarah Rove, who will be taking early retirement, with her final day being 31 March 2026.
Sarah joined Solomon Power in 2017 as Manager Business Performance and, through her dedication, professionalism, and strong leadership, later transitioned into the role of Call Center Manager for Customer Services. In this role, she played a pivotal part in strengthening customer engagement and enhancing service delivery.
A defining feature of Sarah’s leadership was her management of a 24-hour customer service operation, ensuring that customers could always reach Solomon Power for assistance with power-related issues. She led with flexibility and care, making certain that queries and complaints were promptly addressed, escalated to the relevant teams, and followed through with clear and consistent communication to manage customer expectations.
While many of us rest at night, Sarah and her team—working closely with the metering and lines teams—continued behind the scenes to ensure that communities across the country could rely on a steady supply of power. This level of commitment reflects the dedication she brought to her role every day, and for that, we are truly grateful.

Her leadership not only strengthened operational performance within the Call Center but also fostered a culture of empathy, responsiveness, and excellence. She is widely regarded by colleagues as approachable, adaptable, and deeply committed to her work.
Reflecting on her 8.9 years with the organization, Sarah describes her journey as one of continuous growth and learning:
“I have learnt a lot. The role required me to be flexible and more understanding of people. It has enabled me to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.”
As she embarks on a new chapter, Sarah leaves behind thoughtful advice for her colleagues:
“Be committed to your work, but don’t let it consume you. The job should not be the essence of your existence. You have to have a life outside of work. Make time for what matters most, like your family and personal pursuits. Work should be a stepping stone to becoming a better version of yourself.”
Solomon Power extends its sincere gratitude to Sarah Rove for her dedicated service and valuable contributions over the past nine years. Her impact and legacy will remain an important part of the organization’s story.
We wish her every success, happiness, and fulfillment in her future endeavors.
